It says 16g, 8mm

Does the 8mm represent the diameter

A: the minuscule the gauge (g) number the BIGGER it is. most ear piercings start at 20 or 18 g, and go slash by 2's (i.e. 16, 14, 12, etc.) and then you start going my inches (7/16 in. is REALLY big). i'm guessing the "4 g" ones are mis-labeled.
