Alice In Chains At Work On New Album @ Antiquiet

Disc and future touring cycles, Alice In Chains are getting back into the studio this year to itemize a new compact disk.

Rolling Stone reports that guitarist/thrush Jerry Cantrell confirms the group will be working on the tail-up to their last compact disk, their first to attribute new chorus-member William Duvall.

“We started editorial last year,” Cantrell dished at the latest Dimebash excise in L.A., the annual show in honor up to the minute guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott.

According to Cantrell, the categorize will hit the studio in the Elasticity – something everyone complicated has been chomping at the bit to home-coming reciprocity to. Cantrell had some medical ailments to buy with, however, which kept him out of full employment method: “I had cooperatively surgery. I had to get some clean spurs and torn cartilage enchanted carefulness of, so that put me back a inconsequential bit,” he says. “But we’ve been theme through the whole procedure.”

A lot of metal maniacs cocked a laborious eyebrow at the advice before the last EP = 'extended play' dropped that Elton John would be twisted, but EJ’s memorable part on piano on the compact disk’s title-deed hunt down was a delightful one. There won’t be a echo gig, however, as Cantrell has no plans to tear into a make the confederate’s albums into guesting carousels.

“That’s upstanding the quarter lining up fairly. I had nothing to do with that other than asking,” Cantrell says. “What (Elton) is, beyond anything else, is a fucking staggering musician. And he’s the guy who inspired me to start playing music, so to have him monkeyshines on one of our records – conspicuously such a significant record, where we’re restarting our dulcet careers and saying goodbye and honoring our pal [the overdue Layne Staley] – it’s a tremendous subject.”

    FAQ: alice and chains

FAQ Preferably one of their songs with aural guitar, but either is fine. I haven't been playing for very long and, Alice In Chains being one of my favorite bands, I'd like to learn one of their easier songs that a tyro like me can pick up.

A: "No Excuses" uses the same E rope shape and moves it to different positions on the neck.

FAQ I expect alice in chains, soundgarden and pantera could do a best show. I am tired of all this hindi music and rap winning over What do you metal head's think? Maybe even Helmet and Toll, what do yous thinks?

    A: I Fancy SOON

FAQ I ponder William Duvall is a great singer but you can't really call them Alice in Chains without Layne. I like the reunion circuit they did and I'm looking forward to the new album, but they should use another name other than AIC.

A: Rather honestly, I think they deserve the chance to play again. Of course they aren't half the group they were without Staley, but when you think about it, (no disrespect to Layne) he was the reason why the rest of them had to put their careers on hold
